Privacy Policy

Effective Date: June 28, 2026
Last Updated: June 28, 2026

SoccerMomPhD is operated by TKS Group LLC, a North Carolina limited liability company (“we,” “us,” or “our”). Your privacy and your family’s privacy matter deeply to us. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how we share it, and the choices and rights you have. By using soccermomphd.com (the “Site”) and The Parent Lounge (the “Community”), you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide: Your name and email address when you subscribe to The Lounge Letter or join The Parent Lounge; your profile details and the content you post in the Community; and any messages you send us through our contact form.

Information collected automatically: Basic technical and usage data such as your browser type, device, pages visited, and how you arrived at the Site, gathered through cookies and analytics tools.

A note on purchases: We do not process payments on the Site. If you buy a book or other product, you do so through a third-party retailer (such as Amazon), and your purchase is handled under that retailer’s own privacy policy and terms. If we add paid content or services to the Site in the future, we will update this policy to describe what we collect and who processes it.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To operate the Site and the Community, including creating and managing your account.
  • To send you The Lounge Letter and other emails you’ve requested (you can unsubscribe at any time).
  • To respond to your questions and provide support.
  • To understand how the Site is used so we can improve our content and experience.
  • To keep the Community safe and enforce our Community Guidelines.
  • To comply with our legal obligations and protect our legal rights.

3. Legal Bases for Processing (EEA and UK Users)

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process your personal information on the following legal bases:

  • Consent — for sending you The Lounge Letter and for placing non-essential cookies. You can withdraw your consent at any time.
  • Performance of a contract — to provide you with your account and the Community.
  • Legitimate interests — to operate, secure, and improve the Site, provided those interests are not overridden by your rights.
  • Legal obligation — where we are required to process information to comply with the law.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as follows:

  • With trusted service providers who help us operate the Site and Community (for example, our website host, email platform, and community platform), and only as needed to provide those services.
  • With our analytics provider, as described in the Cookies & Analytics section below.
  • When required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of TKS Group LLC, our users, or others.
  • In connection with a business transfer, such as a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case we will take steps to ensure your information remains protected.

4. Content You Post in the Community

Please remember that The Parent Lounge is a shared space. Anything you post can be seen by other members. Avoid sharing sensitive personal or medical details about yourself or your children that you would not want other members to see.

5. International Data Transfers

We are based in the United States, and the service providers we use may process your information in the United States and other countries. If you are located in the EEA, the UK, Canada, or another region with data protection laws, your information may be transferred to and processed in a country whose laws differ from your own. Where we transfer personal information out of the EEA or UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses or another lawful transfer mechanism.

6. Content You Post in the Community

Please remember that The Parent Lounge is a shared space. Anything you post can be seen by other members. Avoid sharing sensitive personal or medical details about yourself or your children that you would not want other members to see.

7. Children’s Privacy

The Site and Community are intended for parents and caregivers — not for children. While our content is about children, our accounts are for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under the minimum age required in your country or region, which may be as high as 16 in parts of the European Economic Area). If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at privacy@soccermomphd.com and we will delete it.

8. Cookies & Analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Site and to understand how it is used. We use Google Analytics to help us measure traffic and improve the experience; Google Analytics sets cookies and processes usage data on our behalf. You can learn about Google’s practices and your choices at Google’s Privacy & Terms site (policies.google.com), and you can opt out of Google Analytics across websites using Google’s browser opt-out add-on.
You can also control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Where required by law — for example, for visitors in the EEA, the UK, and certain other regions — we ask for your consent before placing non-essential cookies, including analytics cookies, and you can change your choice at any time.

9. Data Retention

We keep your personal information only for as long as we need it for the purposes described in this policy — for example, for as long as you maintain an account or subscription — and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When we no longer need your information, we delete or anonymize it.

10. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect your personal information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Third-Party Links

The Site may contain links to third-party websites and services that we do not operate, such as retailers, social media platforms, and other resources. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing them with your information.

12. Your Choices & Rights

You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the link in any message, edit or delete your Community posts, and request access to or deletion of your personal information by contacting us at privacy@soccermomphd.com.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights:

  • If you are in the EEA or UK, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to our processing of your personal information; to data portability; and to withdraw consent. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
  • If you are a California resident, you may have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request its deletion or correction, to opt out of any “sale” or “sharing” of your personal information, and not to be discriminated against for exercising your rights.
  • If you are in Canada, you may have the right to access and correct your personal information and to withdraw your consent, subject to legal and contractual limits.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@soccermomphd.com. We will respond as required by applicable law, and we may need to verify your identity before fulfilling your request.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements. When we do, we will revise the “Last Updated” date above, and if the changes are material, we will provide a more prominent notice. Your continued use of the Site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
